Coker Classic Star Series 235/70R16 whitewall tire is a modern radial
tire with best-in-class speed, load and traction ratings. This tire
features a 2.375-inch whitewall, which is built into the tire from day
one for a long-lasting tire that offers the perfect look for your
classic car. The 235/70R16 sizing is a size that works well for the rear
of hot rods and classic cars that utilize a 16-inch wheel. Coker
Classic Star Series tires feature a 480AA UTQG rating, giving them
excellent treadwear, traction and temperature control. Another
best-in-class rating is the T speed rating (118mph), as well as XL load
rating, thanks to a reinforced sidewall. The low-noise tread looks and

Genuine Wide Whitewall Tire
Typically
wide whitewalls run all the way to the bead. Narrow whitewalls will
stop somewhere before the bead, resulting in a narrower band of exposed
white rubber. Bright white rubber is added directly to the tire sidewall
during initial construction of the carcass, resulting in a truly
integrated, high-quality product after vulcanization. This style was
popular into the early sixties, eventually being replaced by narrow
whitewalls altogether.
