New tubes and flaps or rimstrips are as
important as new tires. We strongly recommend
that all new tube-type tires be equipped with
new tubes and flaps.

you. If you need to return tires and it is not
our fault, there is a 20% re-stocking fee. Tires must be
returned in the same condition as shipped and not mounted. We
cannot accept tires that have been mounted. Shipping costs are
the responsibility of the customer.
If you run inner-tubes
with your tires, it is imperative that you carefully inspect and
remove all stickers on the inside of the tires. We have found as
many as six inspection stickers. They are not always easy to
remove. We have used a hair dryer to loosen them up. If you do
not remove these stickers, they can puncture your inner-tubes
and cause a flat tire which could be a safety-hazard. Please
call us if you have any questions on this important issue.

Modern techniques dictate the use of post
inflation during the manufacturing process;
this may lead to the tires being slightly
larger than an original. Some fitment issues
can occur with spare tires wells,
side-mounts or continental kits. Static
balance with the weights on the inside of
the tire only in order to protect the soft
whitewall. This also gives a more pleasing
appearance. Recommend the use of lug centric
balancing over hub centric. Due to the
cosmetic whitewall insert these tires may
take 3 to 5 ounces to balance, this is
the USA. The whitewalls, redlines and redlines
are molded into the tire, not added on after
the tires are made.
Many of the
Firestone whitewalls have raised lettering
on them. Since the whitewall cannot be
buffed smooth due to the lettering, the tire
will have mould vent marks in the whitewall;
this is normal and NOT a warranty issue.
